Polaroids haben einen nostalgischen Wert für Foto-Enthusiasten, da sie einst Sofortbilder innerhalb von Minuten nach der Aufnahme ermöglichten und von Fotografen als Testwerkzeug verwendet wurden. Helmut Newton hat seine Test-Polaroids aufbewahrt, sodass eine Sammlung dieser Bilder, zusammengestellt von seiner Witwe June Newton, nun viele seiner berühmtesten Aufnahmen zeigt. Das 224-seitige, mehrsprachige Buch, veröffentlicht von TASCHEN am 18. September 2020, dokumentiert den einzigartigen Zauber von Newtons Fotoshootings.
