I am a simple portrait photographer. Usually my portraits won't try to tell a larger story, they just focus on the person - if they do, it was not intentional.
I prefer carefully planned photoshoots over 'candid' shots (whatever that means.) I typically use one light or natural light and a simple, solid backdrop but after the shoot I spend hours to make an image look simple, minimalistic, clean, yet distinctive at the same time. My work is intended for wall art - I’m a huge fan of large prints! I try to create the aura of timelessness and calmness - without pretending to be spiritual or being overly nostalgic.
