Linz-based photographer Sabine Linemeyr’s main areas of expertise are portrait-, fashion- and conceptual photography, with occasional stints in concert photography.
Her passion for the medium developed early on in life. She finds inspiration in nature and the people she portrays. Photography is her main creative outlet, through which she channels everything that can’t be expressed in words. Her images are either trying to discover a hidden truth or twisting reality into something completely new. She portrays people from all walks of life, they can be a canvas for her projections as much as a field study. She says: “For my work the connection I have with the person sitting for me is really important, I want to level with them, discover their beauty outside the boring constructs of beauty propagated in society.”
She is a member of “Wien analog”, a collective of photographers working with black and white analogue film, but equally proficient in the digital world.
