Konzeptionelle Fotografie, auch bekannt als Konzeptkunst-Fotografie, ist eine Kunstform, bei der das Konzept und die Idee im Vordergrund stehen und als gleichwertig mit der fotografischen Technik und der Ästhetik betrachtet werden. Hierbei geht es darum, eine Idee oder ein Konzept durch fotografische Mittel auszudrücken, um eine bestimmte Aussage oder Botschaft zu vermitteln. Es kann sich dabei um abstrakte Konzepte oder um politische oder soziale Themen handeln. In der konzeptionellen Fotografie kann die fotografische Technik oft zweitrangig sein, da die Idee und das Konzept im Mittelpunkt stehen.
