Diese Serie ist kein Porträt – sondern ein Zwischenzustand.
Identität zeigt sich hier als Bewegung, nicht als Behauptung.
Verletzlichkeit wird getragen wie ein Kostüm, Ausdruck wird zum flüchtigen Ritual.
„Field Study“ lässt sich nicht fassen – es flattert, schwebt, entzieht sich.
Und gerade darin liegt sein Blick.

Am 14. Mai 2022 startet im stilwerk Düsseldorf die achte Ausgabe der Messe für zeitgenössische Photographie PHOTO POPUP FAIR. Auf 2000 qm zeigen Photographen:innen und Photokünstler:innen von nationalem und internationalem Format ihre Arbeiten. Petra und ich sind als Aussteller wieder mit dabei und freuen uns auf Euren Besuch. Wäre toll, wir würden Euch mal persönlich kennenlernen!

Acht Monate später als geplant startet am 26. Juni die siebte Ausgabe der PHOTO POPUP FAIR unter anderem mit Bildern von Petra und Thomas Gerwers im Düsseldorfer Stilwerk. Zu sehen sind unter anderem Arbeiten aus ihrem Projekt MUSA ERATO. An den Wochenenden sind beide in der Ausstellung anwesend (geöffnet täglich: 12-19 Uhr)
