I began to work with clay in 2000 and I named that "Women of clay".
This series was made in 2005. I wanted to catch pictures of movement, like in a dance, while Marie was dressing with clay and playing with her body and her image in the mirror.
I have learned photography in workshops in Arles with Lucien Clergue and with Jean-François Bauret (author of the book "Nude Portraits"). I have worked also with Guy Delahaye, a dance photographer who took great pictures of Pina Baush, Carolyn Carlson and the Sankai Juku company.
They all led me from landscape photography, my first domain of interest, to people, portraits, nude and movement.
I like the works of Edward Weston, Man Ray, Edouard Boubat and Francesca Woodman.
