Oblique

Like many of you, I have a collection of images sitting in my drive waiting for attention. I just don't know what to do with hundreds of photos. During a downtime in shooting this spring, I combed through them trying to do something new. I created a series of images that I labeled Oblique, meaning neither parallel nor at a right angle to a specified or implied line. They are cropped and heavily edited photos to showcase the female body in a different way (to me). They are nameless, faceless, and carefully cropped nudes. They are nude art. I shared 18 on Instagram and Bluesky, but I am only including my favorites 9 here.

I am now shooting differently thinking about how I can add to this collection. One of these is actually not part of the original 18, but it is a new favorite. I hope you like them.
