My friend and I decided to talk about Ehlers-Danlos syndrome through a series of portraits that show how the person with the disease is not the disease itself.
The numerous scars that mark her body are just a demonstration of how strength and self-love are much more powerful than illness.

I believe that nude photography represents the deepest and most honest nuance of portrait photography, as it captures the true beauty of a person without the distractions of elaborate clothes or flashy accessories.
