I is another explores the instability of identity through a simple yet radical approach: a flexible mirror, used at the moment of capture, with no digital editing. This mirror distorts, divides, erases — it blurs the body while revealing its hidden edges.
The figures in these photographs appear in constant flux: elusive, multiplied, almost unreal. The body ceases to be a stable form and becomes a fragmented, uncertain reflection. Through this visual tension, the idea of “self” begins to tremble.
This work questions the tension between appearance and inner life, between visible flesh and psychic presence. Each image is a suspended fragment, a silent moment that feels more like a dream or a memory than a narrative. It’s not about telling stories — it’s about creating space for sensation, unease, and suggestion.
Far from shock or spectacle, the aesthetic seeks a strange kind of poetry. The mirror becomes a tool for introspection, revealing instability — a formal way to approach what remains just out of reach.

What I like about the portrait is obviously the light but also the material. This is why I work as both a painter and a photographer. All the effects of materials and colors are therefore developed during the shooting. I paint on transparent film with colored gels or not, acrylic paints, powders, pigments, etc.
