Spring can finally start, the snow has melted in southern Finland at it looks like it will stay away.
The snow melt has left a lot of humidity in the air and given a wonderful misty atmospheric morning. Unfortunately when I awoke I had to rush to work so I could only capture it quickly on my phone, hopefully more mornings will produce such an ambiance and I will have time with my camera.
I really miss the art of record sleeves, through the convenience and evolution of the digital world, masses are being deprived art. Thankfully vinyl sales are increasing so hopefully we’ll see plenty of amazing images that can help represent the sound..
I listen to a lot of post rock, electronic and ambient music whilst doing any post production work on my photography. I think This influences my final image. I can imagine these on a vinyl sleeve of a post rock ambient 12inch LP.
Jacques Broënnec:
Last summer I stumbled upon these sculptures at the fascinating home of the late artist Jacques Broënnec in Bretagne.
This broken old iron swing always gives me an eerie feeling, especially during the darkness of winter.

These are some images of the old Högfors foundry where new businesses are attracting positive attention, and of the surroundings.
Welcome to my profile;
Here I am presenting some handpicked landscape, seascapes and escape photographs of which, I hope gives a sense of the mood and environment they were captured in.
