Mein neues Buch: „SOME SQUARES“ ist da!
Ein Bildband mit puren und rohen analogen schwarz-weiss Fotografien im Format 6×6.

Genau einen Tag vor dem ersten großen Lockdown im Jahr 2020 erwarb ich eine analoge Mittelformat-Kamera (eine Rolleiflex). Diese Kamera als auch die darauffolgende Zeit inspirierten mich so stark so das mir im November 2022 schliesslich beim Joggen spontan die Idee kam, doch einmal ein Buch nur mit Fotos im Format 6x6 herauszubringen. Nach monatelanger Arbeit ist es nun endlich fertig und ich freue mich es Euch zu präsentieren!

Bei „some squares“ handelt es sich um ein Buch, welches ausschliesslich analoge Aufnahmen im quadratischen Format 6x6, Fotografiert mit klassischen Rolleiflex- und Hasselblad-Kameras, zeigt. Bei den enthaltenen Aufnahmen handelt es sich um Portrait- und Modefotografien in Kombination mit privaten und experimentellen Fotos. Grossen Wert habe ich darauf gelegt, dass der Inhalt größtmögliche Fotografische Authentizität bietet: es fand keinerlei Retusche statt, nahezu kein Foto wurde beschnitten und auch Bild- und Entwicklungsfehler habe ich bewusst erhalten.

Auch wenn ich viel und gerne mit anderen Filmformaten als auch Digital Fotografiere, ist es doch das quadratische 6x6-Format, welches mich am meisten fasziniert und ich hoffe ich kann Euch damit ebenfalls begeistern und inspirieren!

My new book „SOME SQUARES“ is available!
An coffee-table book with pure and raw analog black and white photographs in 6×6 format.

In the moment the pandemic started back in 2020 I got my first Rolleiflex camera which I bought one day before the public shutdown.
This camera as well as the following time inspired me so that I finally in November 2022 while jogging spontaneously came up with the idea to bring out a book only with photos in the format 6x6. After months of work it is now finally ready and I am happy to present it to you!

„some squares" is a book that shows exclusively analog photographs in the square format 6x6 (photographed with classic Rolleiflex and Hasselblad cameras). The photographs included are portraits and fashion photographs in combination with private and experimental photos. I have attached great importance to the content offering the greatest possible photographic authenticity: there was no retouching, almost no photo was cropped and also image and development errors I have deliberately preserved.

Even though I like to shoot a lot with other film formats as well as digital, it is the square 6x6 format that fascinates me the most and I hope I can inspire you with it as well!
