I often photograph through translucent screens. The plastic sheeting is a light trap that always surprises me. The colored gel on the crystal paper gives great effects
The images always contain and deliver the same obsessions: the body, desire, eroticism, death, solitude.
For the making : plastic sheeting, wind, overhead light, and a bit of chance.
On-going series.
What I like about the portrait is obviously the light but also the material. This is why I work as both a painter and a photographer. All the effects of materials and colors are therefore developed during the shooting. I paint on transparent film with colored gels or not, acrylic paints, powders, pigments, etc.
