Michael Allmaier was born 1975 in Stuttgart. He grew up in Tübingen, where he learned to take pictures at the young age of 12 years. When he was 13, some animal shots figured as his first publication in the local press. A bit later he got his own photo lab, sponsored by his dad.
After school, he started an internship in a photostudio near Stuttgart. The photographer Peter Sapper has seen his talent and started to grind the raw diamond.
Since 2005 he has been working independently as well as for some well-known companies in different fields such as fashion, architecture, automotive and portraits.
Some of his images have been published in magazines and trade journals.
