Dance is life

Dance is discipline, work, teaching, communication. With it we spare words that perhaps others would not understand and we establish a universal language, familiar to all. It gives us pleasure, makes us free and comforts us from the impossibility that we humans have of flying like birds, it brings us closer to heaven, to the sacred, to infinity. It is a sublime art, always different, similar to making love, which at the end of each performance leaves our heart beating fast, hoping for the next time.

winter postcard from Turin

This photograph risked being trashed because the color rendition was totally insignificant. Before throwing it away I thought that the graphics could be interesting and in fact with a black and white post production it has become almost a poem... what do you think?

"Melancholy is a state of mind in which we prefer to enjoy the shadow because it seems more real than the light."

I attempted to reproduce the mood through a wet panel; I think the rain always inspires a certain melancholy ... what do you think?
