I work with thematic series and with different materials: oil, acrylic, watercolor, gold leafed pastels, as well as different media such as canvas, paper, styrofoam, wood, and everyday found objects. In painting one is always starting again, like an apprentice. Painting, like life, does not give us certainties. We are beings in transit and I try to reflect that in my pictures. Moments of revelation, where one’s imagination manages to breach the veil, are transposed on to the canvas which creates an empathy with the viewer, making them a protagonist and part of the creative process. "Sometimes destiny looks like a small sand storm that is constantly changing direction. You change your course to try to avoid it and the storm also shifts direction to follow you. You tack again but the storm follows. This repeats itself over and over again... And the reason is that the storm is not something that comes from outside and that has no relationship to you. This storm, in short, is you." Murakami To me this is the best definition of what painting is. I have always been interested in the relationship between different artistic disciplines, such as painting, sculpture, print, music, lyrics, architecture, film, photography, all presupposing a common denominator: man. I have had great teachers, an incredible painter and a single master Ary Brizzi, as well as Vidal, Rinaldi and Pesce. Work with thematic series and different oil and acrylic materials, watercolor inks, gold leaf, and on different media, including canvas, fabric, paper, styrofoam, wood.
